This diff is extremely innovative as it is externally adjustable. If you are familiar with Mini-Z Differentials, it is built much like it, where it uses an external aluminum collar and butyl O-ring to create pressure in between the 2 differential halves and tighten or loosen it without having to disassemble or remove anything in the rear end.
This differential kit, much like the Tamiya F104 diff uses Tamiya spurs, so a spacer is still needed to use "regular" spurs.
Please take note that a spur gear, shaft and left hub are still needed to complete a rear assembly. |
