This bumper is wider and much stronger than the original unit on the Associated TC6  It is designed to absorb impact as much as a softer bumper, while protecting the front of your TC's body from getting torn as easily.  Being wider also helps prevent the body coming in contact with the tires and also protects your front suspension parts much better. The bumper is a bit thicker so it must be used with some 4mm of shimming under the brace to locate it appropriately.
